Method

1. Ingestion. GDELT 2.0's 15-minute coded event stream is fetched continuously; every event keeps its originating URL.
2. Classification. CAMEO root codes map to 12 event types; coordinates come from the action location (falling back to actor location), not a country centroid.
3. Corroboration. Events keep GDELT's source, article and mention counts. Two or more independent source domains marks an event as corroborated; a single-source report stays visibly labelled.
4. Publication. The monitor shows the event within one polling cycle, with first-seen, last-seen and revision count attached.

Limits, stated plainly: this is one pipeline (GDELT coding), not a multi-vendor corroboration desk. Coordinates are as coded by GDELT. No event is presented as verified fact; the source list is the evidence.
